My exciting new partnership with TONI&GUY and label.m…
It’s not very often that people get to work with brands and products that they’ve loved and respected for a long time, so I am absolutely THRILLED to be able to announce that I’m going to be working with international hair brand superstars TONI&GUY and their pro product range label.m for the next year.
And what exactly does this mean?
Well, I’ll be working with TONI&GUY and label.m across a whole range of projects over the next year – all of them very exciting and all of them entirely wonderful. I’ll be reporting on all things hair and fashion with them backstage and FROW at London Fashion Week (and getting the catwalk hair done myself!), you’ll see me presenting on TONI&GUY TV, there’ll be fab competitions and product sampling for WIWTers (yey!), all the hair tips and tricks you could ever wish for, exclusive content from some of this country’s top designers AND you may even see me go Gwen Stefani blonde and back again.
I guess if you’re ever going to take the plunge and do something drastic with your hair, you’re best off doing it when working with the best hairdressers in the world, right?! And as International Technical Director Jayson Gray just added ANOTHER award to his awardy belt by winning the title of Colour Expert 2013 at Creative HEAD’s Most Wanted Awards last week, I think I’ll be in safe hands!
As anyone who has ever asked me anything about my hair will know, the label.m range has been my trusted haircare brand for years. Every single product seems to be a miracle worker…so naturally I’m very excited to be working with them and converting even more of you to the white, silver and black bottle side!
It’s especially exciting to me as well because TONI&GUY are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. Looking back at the heritage of the brand and the iconic hair trends of the past they so strongly influenced makes me really appreciate what a genuine honour it is for me to be asked to work with the brand, whilst it also makes me massively excited for what the future of TONI&GUY holds.
September also sees label.m becoming the first ever Official Haircare Product of London Fashion Week, joining forces with the British Fashion Council to cement a relationship that was established back in 2004, when TONI&GUY first became an Official London Fashion Week Sponsor. I can’t even smell label.m hairspray without thinking I’m backstage at Somerset House, so to say it’s an obvious fit is an understatement!
This is what Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, Global Creative Director at TONI&GUY kindly had to say about the partnership (*blushes*): “At TONI&GUY and label.m we are always keen to work with industry experts and leaders within their field. On Monday I’ll be bringing you all the catwalk looks from the TONI&GUY 50th Festival which is taking place this Sunday (think a retrospective look at the last five decades of hair trends, LFW stylin, avant garde, GILES, Jean-Pierre Braganza etc) but for now I will leave you with some of my fave hairstyles the TONI&GUY team have created for me over the last couple of years…
And from next Friday I’ll be taking you backstage at LFW.
