If you watch my Food Favourites videos then you’ll know I like a good product launch. The only thing better than a new crisp flavour or an exciting new gin? Well that’s easy – NEW CHOCOLATE. Especially, if said new chocolate comes from the folk at Maltesers.
I have a lot of time for Maltesers whether in bunny form, ice cream, fridge cake (my friend Derrian makes the best Malteser Fridge Cake there ever was) or just your standard sharing bag of classic Maltesers (not shared) shovelled down by the handful at the cinema. So when I was asked if I’d like to try the brand new Maltesters Luxury Chocolates ahead of their official launch, I obviously jumped at the chance.
Heck, I even gave myself a polka dot manicure to celebrate! All the better for tearing open those dotty foil wrappers, I say…
And it wasn’t just me embracing the polka dot trend, various London landmarks got their spots on this weekend too…
I really want to make a call from that dotty phone box.
But of course the real thing you’ll want to know is ARE THEY ANY GOOD? Well fear not, they’ll meet all your expectations as they combine Maltesers’ trademark malty deliciousness, crunchy wafer and smooth milk chocolate all into one (decent sized!) tasty package. If you like the Maltesers Teasers in a box of Celebrations (let’s be real here, these ALWAYS disappear first) then you will be in for a serious treat with a box of the new Luxury Chocolates, they’re just like a bigger version but with more crunch and the perfect smooth chocolate centre. I’m a bit in love.
And don’t worry, this isn’t one of those new products that bloggers talk about six months before you can actually buy them. I mean that can be annoying enough with make-up, but with chocolate it would just be plain cruel. These are AVAILABLE NOW from Debenhams with an RRP of £6. Each box has 16 individually wrapped chocs so there are plenty to share, it will just be a matter of whether or not you *actually want to* once you’ve tasted them. With Mother’s Day around the corner, I can think of plenty of girlfriends who would gladly polish off a box of these!
You can find out more about them on their Facebook and Instagram page, but the proof is in the eating so I recommend getting over to Debenhams sharpish.
Thank you Maltesers for letting me get in on the action early, luckily I still have two left to have with my afternoon cuppa later!
x
This post is sponsored by Maltesers Luxury Chocolates, but all choc-loving enthusiasm is very much my own. You can find out more about how I work with brands here.
These sound like heaven! Will be keeping my eyes peeled for sure!
Also, I’m intrigued about this maltesers fridge cake…
Oh no, we don’t have a Debenhams 🙁
These look glorious! I’m going to have to get some for my friend for her birthday, she will LOVE them.
